Converse partnered with world-renowned cosmetic brand, O.P.I., to create a bold and bright collection. This partnership enabled both brands to energize consumers for summer. The collaboration was an opportunity to tell a story centered around color, through the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, as well as introduce a brand new silhouette: the One Star Sandalism.
O.P.I. is known for the names of their nail polishes, such as “V-I-Pink Passes” and “Dance Party Teal Dawn”. It was important that those color names were front and center in the site experience.
On the homepage P1, it was important that we represented all the silhouettes available in this collection—high tops, low tops, and the brand new sandal.
The landing page started off with imagery, copy, and a CTA that drove to a gridwall of the entire collection. As you moved down the page, the sections get broken out by the fun color names that OPI is known for.
The product detail pages featured motion content from the campaign, as well as additional elevated product photography.
The Converse x OPI gridwall featured an In-Grid card that spoke to the free gift with purchase, as well as an In-Grid card that drove users to the landing page.
